About Judy
I have had many jobs – some I have hated and more I have loved.
Shelving books at the public library, ringing up people’s groceries at a supermarket, counselling troubled children, training police officers, researching and writing crime prevention modules, running strategic planning sessions, training and mentoring coaches, coaching clients…
All of these (and more) experiences of the world of work have provided me with deep insights about what makes work work, and have helped me develop the practical tools I share with my clients to help them make their work work better for them.
I am a qualified teacher and an experienced trainer and facilitator.
I have worked in a range of private, public, and academic environments.
I have a master’s degree in criminal justice studies and worked in the crime and violence prevention arena for over a decade before burning out and training as a life coach 17 years ago.
I am a Master Life Coach.
I have coached many hundreds of clients through one-on-one and group coaching programmes.
I am the author of three books, published by Bookstorm, all drawing from the insights and experiences gained from coaching my many clients.
My special skill is SIMPLIFYING:
- I sort through the mess and noise of emotions, frustrations, and disappointments to help my clients identify the barriers to their success,
- I draw from a wide range of theories and methods to create powerful, practical and easy to use strategies and skills to address and remove the barriers,
- I present complicated ideas and concepts in a simple and accessible way.
I combine all my knowledge and experience in the coaching processes I take clients through. I love to design programmes that take individuals and teams on journeys of self-discovery and learning – resulting in them being able to make work (and life) work better.
